Description

Confessional Simulator is a darkly comedic simulation game where you play as the new priest at St. Augustine's. Behind the wooden screen of the confessional booth, parishioners hand you the worst thing they did. Some of it is heavy. Most of it is ridiculous. What you do with it is up to you.

Every confession ends with you picking what to say. Send them off forgiven and your Faith grows. Lean on the guilt instead and the donations come in, funding a booth upgrade ladder that climbs from golden candles to a hot tub behind the screen. The catch is Suspicion: push people too hard, too often, and word gets around. Let it hit the ceiling and the diocese excommunicates you on the spot.

Every confession is fully voiced. The free demo covers three days at the booth: nine confessions, Blessings bought with Faith, a hotline to the Police, your Monsignor, an Exorcist, and a Therapist, a parish newspaper that covers your week, and a late-night visit from the Bishop, who has heard everything. The full game grows the parish past forty confessors, some of whom keep coming back with storylines shaped by how you handled them last time.

This is a work of satire and fiction. All characters, events, and confessions are entirely fictional.

Short Description

You're the new priest at St. Augustine's. Sinners kneel on the other side of the screen and tell you everything. Forgive them and your Faith grows. Work the guilt and the donations roll in. Push it too far and the Bishop starts listening. A voiced dark comedy about other people's sins.

The free demo is live on Steam, on both Windows and Mac: store.steampowered.com/app/4297580

It covers three days at St. Augustine's: nine fully voiced confessions, the booth upgrade ladder, Blessings, the hotlines, the Parish Gazette, and the Bishop's late-night visit. A run takes roughly half an hour, and the greedy route and the faithful route end very differently, so it holds up to a second run on stream.

No press key needed for the demo. For anything else, contact us.
